Redfern Wins Place on Government’s G-Cloud 9 Procurement Framework

The UK’s fastest growing travel management company has once again displayed its commitment to providing first-rate business travel solutions to the public sector by winning a place on the Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) remodelled procurement framework.

Award-winning Redfern is listed as a supplier on G-Cloud 9, providing the public sector with access to the company’s innovative on-line corporate travel booking tool tRIPS.

G-Cloud 9 is a new development within the Crown Commercial Service’s procurement framework which acts as a digital marketplace from which public sector organisations can buy services without needing to run a full tender or competition procurement process.

Redfern was listed on the previous version of G-Cloud, and is the only TMC to maintain its place on the new, improved framework. More than 2800 digital service providers applied to join the framework, and Redfern is only one of two TMCs to be successful.

Redfern’s COO Kate Wimpeney said: “We’re proud to be re-appointed to the G-Cloud procurement framework. This will increase Redfern’s presence within the public sector and will give organisations the benefit of our tRIPS booking tool designed to make booking business travel as smooth as possible, without having to go through onerous procurement processes.

“We’re committed to helping our customers drive down the cost of business travel and to make the process as hassle-free as possible. Admission onto the G-Cloud framework will allow us to continue to do this for the public sector.”

Redfern’s tRIPS tool gives users access to air, rail, hotel and ground transport providers in one easy-to-use online portal. In late 2016, Redfern was acquired by global group, CTM which makes CTM one of the seven largest TMCs in the UK.
